FREESOUND PRESENTS:

We know that for artists on the road, finding a space to play can be a challenge. Over the last year, we’ve presented a number of musicians who have been passing through Toronto. These musicians have stopped in to Toronto to play a show on their way to somewhere else. After a year of this, we’re launching, Freesound Presents:!

Freesound Presents: is here to support experimental and contemporary musicians, sound artists, and composers by connecting them with Toronto’s experimental music scene. We don’t offer payment, but if you're passing through for a night or looking for an additional stop on your tour, we’ll work with you to help produce your show.

While we don’t provide fees, we do offer:
- A venue (Arraymusic), free of charge
- A platform to share your work with Toronto audiences
- Collaboration opportunities with local experimental artists
- Promotion & visibility within Toronto’s experimental, contemporary, and improvised music communities
-A central venue with tech, lighting, and wheelchair access

We believe in fostering connections, artistic exchanges, and listening to new music! If you're looking for a space to share it in Toronto, let’s connect.

Artists we’ve presented:

- Karen Yu & Ken Ueno
- Rodney Sharman, composer & Rachel Kiyo Iwaasa, piano
- Members of Ensemble Musikfabrik
- Matthew Lau, percussion
- Transsonic (Viola Yip & Nicol Hein)
